Southern Community Bank Opens Murfreesboro Branch

Bill Yoder, President and CEO of Southern Community Bank, is pleased to announce the opening of Southern Community Bank’s Murfreesboro branch located at 1950 Old Fort Parkway.

Southern Community Bank purchased the Community First Bank & Trust Murfreesboro branch on March 30, 2012 and opened the doors on Monday, April 2, 2012 as Southern Community Bank. “I am very appreciative to have the employees and customers of Community First Bank & Trust join the Southern Community Bank family,” Mr. Yoder stated.

“We are thrilled to add a full service bank to the Murfreesboro community. For the past two years, Southern Community Bank has had a presence in the Murfreesboro area with the bank’s loan production office led by Ben Weatherford.” stated Mr. Yoder. “Our goal is for the bank’s customers to have a service that is unlike all the rest.”

Mr. Weatherford will serve as City President of the Murfreesboro Southern Community Bank branch and Beverly Barker will serve as Branch Manager. RELAY FOR LIFE


Please join Southern Community Bank's "Team Margaritaville" at the American Cancer Society's Relay For Life on Friday, May 10 at Tullahoma's Wilkins Stadium.  In addition to having a good time for a great cause, Southern Community Bank will be selling Cheeseburgers in Paradise to raise money for the American Cancer Society.  If you are unable to attend and support us in person, you can make a donation to the American Cancer Society in person at any of our branches.
